Neue Trailer zur dritten Staffel von Mr. Mercedes, zum Imax-Rerelease von Apocalypse Now, zum Crime Thriller Lucky Day und zum argentinischen Klaustrophobie-Thriller 4×4, zu Michael Palins Super 8mm Flying Circus-Home Movie, zu Staffel 2 von Kidding von Jim Carrey und Michel Gondry, zum Dino-Schlock Jurassic Thunder, sowie ein The Expanse Season 4 Sizzle-Teaser.

KIDDING Season 2

Kidding is an American comedy-drama television series collaboration between director and executive producer Michel Gondry and Carrey, who previously worked together on the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Kidding is set in Columbus, Ohio and follows Jeff Piccirillo, aka beloved children’s television presenter Mr. Pickles, appreciated by children and parents alike. Mr. Pickles anchors a multimillion-dollar branding empire, but he faces a personal tragedy and difficult family life.

The Expanse – Teaser: TCA Season 4 Sizzle

The disappearance of rich-girl-turned-political-activist Julie Mao links the lives of Ceres detective Joe Miller (Thomas Jane), accidental ship captain James Holden (Steven Strait) and U.N. politician Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo). Amidst political tension between Earth, Mars and the Belt, they unravel the single greatest conspiracy of all time.

About The Expanse Seasons 2:
In this noir thriller set two hundred years in the future, the case of a missing young woman leads a washed-up detective across the solar system to uncover the greatest conspiracy in human history.

About The Expanse Seasons 3:
As the Rocinante crew digs deeper into the search for Prax’s missing daughter, the war between Earth and Mars turns deadly in ways the solar system has never seen. But a new threat in the outer reaches of the Belt could prove much more dangerous, threatening to test the very future of humanity.

Jurassic Thunder

When a covert desert base is forced to divert World War 3 against their adversary, a group of commandos and weaponized dinosaurs are hired to do the job.

A high-end 4×4 is parked on a street of a typical neighborhood in Buenos Aires. A young kid breaks into it to steal whatever he can find, but when he tries to get out he discovers that he can’t. The doors and windows are locked – the 4×4 is just like an armored bunker. The situation is distressing: he is trapped. Someone on the outside is in control of the vehicle, and they seem to have a plan.

Lucky Day

Red, a safe cracker who has just been released from prison, is trying to hold his family together as his past catches up with him in the form of Luc, a psychopathic contract killer who’s seeking revenge for the death of his brother.

Apcalypse Now

In Vietnam in 1970, Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) takes a perilous and increasingly hallucinatory journey upriver to find and terminate Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando), a once-promising officer who has reportedly gone completely mad. In the company of a Navy patrol boat filled with street-smart kids, a surfing-obsessed Air Cavalry officer (Robert Duvall), and a crazed freelance photographer (Dennis Hopper), Willard travels further and further into the heart of darkness.

IMAX and Lionsgate are celebrating the 40th anniversary of Francis Ford Coppola’s critically acclaimed classic Apocalypse Now by inviting audiences to experience the Vietnam War epic like never before.

The mythology of Mr. Mercedes focuses on retired police detective Bill Hodges (Brendan Gleeson), who finds himself in the center of a circuitous psychological game involving the psychopathic serial killer, Brady Hartsfield (Harry Treadaway), whose initial criminal claim to fame involved plowing a Mercedes into a line of job seekers; a crime that earned him the story’s eponymous nickname, “Mr. Mercedes.” – The cast also consists of Jack Huston, Jharrel Jerome, Holland Taylor, Brenda Wool, Robert Stanton, Justine Lupe, Scott Lawrence and Tessa Ferrer.

Michael Palin’s Super 8mm Flying Circus-Home Movie

A sneak peak of Michael Palin’s never-before-seen super 8mm home movies, with new commentary from Michael Palin himself, from 1972 when the Pythons were filming sketches for the 3rd series of Monty Python’s Flying Circus in Jersey.

Michael Palin rode Mr. Pither’s bicycle around Jersey which doubled for Devon in “The Cycling Tour”. He also faced a firing squad on the island. But he wasn’t alone. John Cleese held up Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Graham Chapman and Carol Cleveland aboard a coach and horses as Dennis Moore, in the tight country lanes of the self-governing dependency.
By this stage in the production of the 3rd series, 7 episodes are in the can. This film shows the Monty Python crew filming around the island prior to the studio recording sessions for the final 6 shows of the series, the first of which would happen just two weeks after filming was completed.
Michael says of the film: “I had a morning off and took film of the preparation for a sequence in which John Cleese as Moore holds up a passing stagecoach. Looking back now, I realise that the unique aspect of filming I captured that day was its boredom. In that way it is, at least, an honest bit of footage and remains almost the only movie material of Python at work in those early days of the TV series”.

You can watch the full-length films as part of the BFI Python Season “It’s… Monty Python at 50” from 1 September 2019. For more details visit:
